The camera behind the glass is the eye of every lane-departure, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and collision-avoidance system on the vehicle. Every windshield replacement on an ADAS-equipped vehicle disturbs it, and every recalibration depends on one thing: a target placed exactly where that manufacturer says it belongs.
Auggie Air is a targeting device, not a calibration device. It supports front-facing camera calibration as a digital rendering of the targets: your scan tool performs the calibration, and Auggie Air puts the manufacturer’s target exactly where the procedure requires it. With a footprint that never extends beyond the vehicle, the dedicated calibration bay is a thing of the past.

The manual translations of a legacy setup (selecting the right target board, finding the centerline with string and a plumb bob, pacing out distances by hand) come out of the process. The specification does not.
