Walk through a conventional setup honestly. Somebody reads the procedure. Somebody selects the target for that brand. Somebody finds the centerline with string and a plumb bob, sets the height, paces out the distance. Every one of those steps is a person translating the manufacturer’s specification into something physical at the vehicle, and every translation is a place to be wrong. Hand two experienced technicians a tape measure and ask each to mark out three thousand millimeters. You will get two marks.
Auggie Air takes those translations out of the job. It identifies what the manufacturer requires for that vehicle and renders the target to that specification, so the manual steps come out of the process rather than the standard. Your newest technician and your most experienced one produce the same result, because neither is being asked to reproduce a specification by hand.
And every job produces the record that proves it: what the manufacturer required, the procedure followed, the target setup used, and written confirmation the system was verified to OEM operating specification. If the history of that vehicle is ever reviewed, your shop holds the record.
