TruCenter bridges mount to the windshield alongside Auggie Air. Each carries a marker, and TruCenter software built into Auggie Air computes the vehicle centerline.
The device is placed by eye. The bridges locate off its legs. The vehicle stops them. The software does the precision.
Every legacy method references the floor, or a drivetrain mounted through bushings that carries the tolerance of every joint between it and the body. TruCenter references the A-pillars: the structure the vehicle was built around, not components bolted to it.
No prepared floor. Driveways slope, lots are crowned, and nothing can be marked. The reference travels with the vehicle.
