Josh McFarlin, the President and COO of AirPro Diagnostics, was elected to the board of directors of the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) on April 16th. This was McFarlin’s fourth nomination for a seat on the board.

As the newest member of the Board McFarlin stated he would bring with him “A sense of duty and respect for the opportunity and a desire to collaborate with the board and contribute to the board objectives.”

With nearly 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, McFarlin has worked as a Ford Senior Master Technician and held roles at Audi, Raytheon Professional Services, and I-CAR. In 2019, he became AirPro’s executive vice president of operations, and last year became the President and COO. He has worked closely with SCRS board members for more than 10 years, serving on committees and task force projects.

McFarlin’s appointment to the board of directors is well-earned and welcomed. As a society that represents dozens of State Associations, thousands of Collision Repair businesses, and thousands of specialized professionals who work in the industry, Josh McFarlin’s experience will be invaluable.

“For right now, my objective is to integrate with the other board members, gain a better understanding of the current priorities and initiatives and identify the ways I can support those priorities and initiatives.”
